Women in Skilled Trades: Pre-Apprenticeship Info Session

This 34-week pre-apprenticeship program can lead to work as a residential air conditioning systems mechanic and gas technician.

Just-in-Time Jobs: Getting By in a World of Part-Time, Contract, and Precarious Work

This town hall discussion examines the shift in the labour market and the cost of unstable jobs. Moderated by Metro Morning’s Matt Galloway.

Landscape Ontario Job Fair

This sector-specific job fair is open to youth aged 16 to 29 who will be connected with an employment counsellor, job developer, or caseworker.

When: March 4, 1 pm to 2:30 pm

Business Inc. Orientation Session

Find out more about this eight-week business program offered at the Toronto Public Library in partnership with the Toronto Business Development Centre.

When: March 5, 6:30 pm to 8 pm

Where: Northern District Library, 40 Orchard View Blvd.

Toronto Job Fair

This GTA recruitment event connects qualified and professional job seekers and hiring companies from the GTA, other regions of Ontario, and Canada with great employment opportunities in many different fields, including healthcare, engineering, accounting, and construction.

Regent Park Youth Employment Summit MPP

Glen Murray is hosting this event geared towards current college and university students and recent college/university grads aged 18 to 35 who need help with resumes, interviews, and accessing jobs. Staff from the Centre for Education and Training will be on hand.

Recruitment for TTC Customer Service Ambassadors

Nasco Staffing Solutions is seeking more than 80 TTC customer service ambassadors for ongoing, part-time, and occasional weekend work.

Doctors Without Borders Q&A Session

Join Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders for a presentation and Q&A session on how to become part of a team of medical and non-medical field workers. A human resources officer will be on hand to discuss requirements and the recruitment process.
